Private Property

The first issue that popped into my mind is private property. How can you possibly maintain the rights to ownership of certain things if you did not pay for them? Again, we are smarter than this people. Instead of throwing your hands up in the air and claiming it’s undoable, think! Have faith that we can do it, and then set out to prove it true.

First of all, everyone that owns something now should remain entitled to that ownership. This new paradigm isn’t going to be built to take anything away from you. It’s going to be built in a way that gives to everyone. As much as I’d like to rip every bit from the greedy elite, that is negative in thinking. But I’ll be happy in knowing that “we” won’t be rewarding them with any more than they already have, that’s for darn sure! And who knows, many of the extremely rich may throw some of their riches back to communities after witnessing the positive changes that we will be affecting on the world. In time, it will all even out. Let’s not fight over it, let’s just get on with our new paradigm.

Let’s talk about the most important property for a family, a home. So, let’s just imagine that Tommy graduates from college and needs a home to move into so he can begin his adult life. Well Tommy, do you see a vacant property you like? You do? Well there you go Tommy that is now your property. Tommy now can use all the free products in our new paradigm to build his new home, he can even apply to have a construction crew help him do it! What if Tommy doesn’t want to build his own home because he’s just not interested in that? Well Tommy is going to have to find a home that is already built. As I stated in the “Unity” paper, almost all the same jobs will be needed in our society, and that will include jobs like real estate agents, building contractors, local planning committees(framework of local government), and so on. So mankind will still go on building new homes for increased demands. Each of those mentioned jobs will simply take on slightly different roles than today.

Clearly we will have a need to oversee development in each unique area on our planet. People will need to have some restrictions on where they can and cannot develop land. We have to maintain preservation areas for our wildlife and recreational reasons. That framework exists now, why change it? Those folks will be as necessary in the new paradigm as they are now. So when Tommy wants to build a new home on new property after graduating from college, he’ll need to apply for permits to build on land that is designated by the local planning departments as developmental lands. The oversight of these departments fair treatment in this process will need to be handled by the local population which as stated in the intro work will be a part of our world and local governments. Instead of “just” a planning and development department making the decisions on what is developmental and what is not, they will need to submit that to a voting process so the public has the oversight. So when a county area is running short on lands to develop, they can do their jobs of making their professional suggestions on which areas would be suitable and submit it for a vote from the people. Education will be important in this process, so that all the same environmental and preservation factors can be weighed properly. But in a world that is free from money, there will be little chance of these processes being used against the interests of both humanity and the planet. The processes as a whole will be free from the corruption and greed that exist today.

I would also like to note this about our world without money in relation to private property and development. In a paradigm where everything is free, even those people who own homes today that are not up to their dream standards can freely remodel them. So if you think this through, you’ll start to understand that nearly any home you look at 10 or 20 years down the road will be desirable to just about anyone! We’ll all have “dream homes”!

But what if Tommy wants to move from town A to town B and wants to live closer to town B for obvious reasons? Well, Tommy won’t be the only one doing this. Almost every community will have folks moving in and folks moving out. So naturally, there will be vacant homes. We’ll need to have a framework for managing these things. Tommy can look around town B for vacant places he likes and apply for them if there is more than he interested in them. Nothing is perfect, and Tommy might not get the exact place he wants right off the bat, but he can keep checking the availabilities of new vacancies the longer he stays there and find the place he does want over time. The system we are operating under now is FAR less perfect than that, I’m sure we can all be humble enough to realize that this is completely reasonable to expect, especially if it’s free!

It’s also fair to say that inheritance is a completely workable part in the new paradigm. But, it’s going to need to be done in a way that is fair to everyone else too. Inheritance of homes can be a means to accumulate more than another family over time. So it should be a reasonable thinking that if a family wants to keep dear ole dads home in the family, they should move there and give up the home they were living in. We don’t need to horde in a paradigm without money. And the potential for unfair accumulations of wealth, which is what property is, needs to be avoided so people don’t become jealous.

But what about other things, like vehicles and personal toys? Again, if you own it now, you certainly get to keep it. If you want a new one, you trade it in. It’s not really difficult to see this part of private property through. If you want something for your home or recreation, you’ll go to a storehouse that has it and get one. Really, in my mind, the only issue will be some people hording too many things (in the beginning stages of our new paradigm) because they will be so unaccustomed to having whatever they want. It will be a thrill for a while. These will be growing pains for our society, but I know that in time it will pass. Eventually our society will foster modesty in these additional properties, and people will simply acquire what they like to use most often. Other things they can go and use in the way a library checks out books, and bring them back when they are done (or keep them if they change their mind and want it, it doesn’t matter that much in my thinking). Want a new car? Go turn your old one in and they can rebuild, repair, or recycle it. And same with other devices like appliances, technologies, and so on.

Eventually, we’ll develop new transportation technologies like anti-gravity crafts, or teleportation and so cars will become a thing of the past. There may be slightly different agreements needed for these new technologies, but we can figure that out when we get there!

Work

In order for humanity to succeed now and in the future, a certain amount of work must be achieved during any given point in time. No job attributed to the MLR (Minimum Labor Requirement, a measure of required labor humanity needs to accomplish to ensure the basic necessities of all people are provided for such as food, products, materials, resources, and services) can be deemed any more or less important than another as all of it must be done to ensure each individual has an equal share in products and services. Therefore, no one job can ever be deemed worthy of more or less reward than another and this is why economy is no longer relevant to humanity. The times of rewarding individuals with more than others based on their vocation must come to an end in order to achieve true equality amongst us all and ensure that unity exists for the human family.

There will always be a MLR for humanity to meet. As a whole, in reference to the overall requirement towards the MLR, this requirement is more important than any other endeavor mankind aspires to pursue. The individuals who perform these vocations will not be rewarded with more or less than anyone else because these things must be done, no matter what individual vocation we point at. However, with every human being within set ages of the working class employed, we will be able to meet this MLR with a fraction of our available workers. This will leave for us elective vocations.

Vocations in the pursuits of sciences, arts, entertainment, exploration, etc. will be the desired elective vocations for many people. As I spoke about briefly in the document “Intellectual Works and Property”, we will always want our most gifted and proven individuals to secure these elective vocations as professionals. This won’t disallow anyone from pursuing these electives in their spare time; instead it will limit the amount humanity rewards with these vocations to ensure we always meet our MLR. It must be clearly understood that these desired vocations are the reward for anyone’s individual excellence in a particular field. The ability to pursue these elective vocations as an individual’s contribution to the human family is their reward. So it will never be acceptable for these elective positions to receive more or less than another, for their reward is already in hand. This new understanding for humanity will be a key hurdle for us to overcome in ensuring equality among us all, and thusly ensuring unity and peace for us all. We must understand that we are all one family and that we have a basic duty to share in our work efforts and fruits of those efforts together, and equally.

Some may argue that some vocations may be dangerous and therefore should be given more reward than another. I would like to clear that up for those people here. In a world without economy, no safety standard can be too expensive to implement. On the contrary, we can afford to make every single job function as safe as humanly and technologically feasible. While certain new jobs or unique fields of work will always be ever slightly more dangerous than some, the choice of pursuing these vocations will always exist in the individual and so risk in these jobs will be a chosen truth. The idea that any vocation is worthy of more or less reward must be removed from our conscious as we are all one large family, responsible in caring for one another.

For our new system to work fairly and effectively it will require that all people contribute by vocation. The incentive for each person to fulfill a vocation will be the privilege of access to anything the human family produces in a fair manner, as well as the right to own a home and property. This essential relationship and agreement must be written into law to ensure it is defined in perfect clarity in order to thwart the ability of a minority that will seek to free-load off of the system.

Those who will be harshly opposed to this new system will point this out as an essential flaw in a system based on sharing without economy. I, however, will disagree with the argument completely. It is my view that only a minority will seek to exploit this new system. As is true today, a minority will always exist that try and use a system to their advantage. Today for example, bankers make millions doing nothing but collecting interest on debt. Further examples exist in the current world of economy with trading, interest, inflation and deflation practices, and transaction. On the reverse end of our current paradigm, there are those that leech off the system in welfare and other systems like it. It must be deliberated to a full extent in how to limit (with the goal of completely eradicating) the ability for these abuses to be achieved in the new system. If the clear requirement of every individual is a vocation in order to participate than this issue will not be anything but a formality of policy. In addition, the extreme majority of people hold a basic desire to achieve their dreams and so they will be self regulated to a certain motivation to participate in this basic requirement. This matter must be deliberated on fully and written laws established which do not infringe on human rights as established in a New World Constitution and Bill of Rights.
More to come on this topic….

Intellectual works and property

What will we do about the arts of music, painting, literature, movies, sports, and other future works of entertainment for humanity? How will we allow the creative human spirit to flourish and coincide with the necessity to get labor type work done? Who will own it and how? We all have to discuss this one in great detail. But I believe that we can have a system that allows for our most creative minds in these arts to continue to pursue their fantastic gifts as a contribution to labor for our human family to enjoy.

Not everyone is equally endowed in all abilities; we must allow those among us who are gifted in the various arts to have a life that promotes their creative spirit. This won’t mean that only these individuals will be allowed to pursue their art of choice, instead it will mean that we will reward our most talented in the arts with the platform for their skill in being the labor towards humanity. All others will of course be free to pursue their passions for arts as well; they will simply need to pursue it in their free time while completing their function towards humanities work requirements in other ways. Completely possible to consider is that an individual who is not in the arts proving to be brilliant in such things could transfer their current career to the arts from whatever vocation they previously had.

I think we will need to find a balance in how many we allow this privilege of pursuit as a career so that we maintain the necessary numbers in other vocations. Obviously this will need to be a regulatory of local and world government overseen by the human family. We will always have a minimum required amount of work in order to supply each individual with the same needs. Determining the required numbers of people needed to meet those needs will allow us to then conclude how many individuals we can afford to let pursue these alternative works as their contribution to society. As we continue to move through the technological discoveries of our future, we will always need to adjust these levels as machines and other technologies replace the work of mankind. The longer our new world society can remain unified towards this direction, the closer it will become to a realized state were nearly all of our time is free.

Ownership of the works of our arts for our entertainment will be towards us all. There will be no economy and so there will be no ownership of these works. An artist will simply pursue their skills because they love it and choose to bless humanity with their abilities. No longer will individuals choose to pursue these things for riches.

The model of major league baseball is a perfect starting point for how the process of becoming a vocational artist can be implemented. Everyone will be given the opportunities in their childhood moving through college to pursue their dreams. Just as in baseball, only those with a certain level of skill are invited to join a college team. In the same manner all arts can be managed. Then, just as in the professional baseball arena, a select few of those college athletes will be awarded the pro career they dreamed of. This will not be the end of those aspiring artists who don’t make the cut, as they will still have plenty of free time to pursue their dreams in free times. When a person is realized as one deserving by society they can be made established so.

This model will also be an effective structure in all other careers for humanity. We should always allow for people to choose what they dream of doing and the method in which to pursue it must exist for them. We will always desire the best of the best to be our professionals. Those not making the cut will not be refuted indefinitely; instead they will have every opportunity to continue their pursuits in free time and prove they’re worthy later down the road. They may simply wish to recognize their other unique talents and pursue those instead. College will be free for anyone, so while a person may need to accept a career they don’t like upon realizing they have fallen short on their initial dream, they can always go back and learn new things and pursue new dreams so long as they continue to contribute their needed labor for humanity in the adulthood years. In this way, we will all be lifelong students. We may all decide to use our free time to pursue the wonders of our imaginative spirit in the pursuit of growing and evolving as both individuals and a human family.

Media

In order for a government of the people, by the people, and for the people to exist and remain intact, it must consist of a healthy and uncorrupt mass media. For the populous to make informed, educated and properly thought out decisions, the people need mass media in order to make their proper vote on all matters. It will be an essential tool for oversight in all forms of our new government. Protecting against government being turned against the people by forms of propaganda must be a primary vision of our media. Also, protection of our resources from being eroded into economy is vital and so the ability of a transparent media structure to be a bullhorn against these violations needs to exist.

Today, people believe in what they see on the corrupted mass media stage and cast their votes accordingly only to realize in the coming months or years that they regret their vote because they were not properly informed. Mass media is a powerful tool if used just as it is today, as a propaganda machine. In order for this tool to be used in the benefit of the human family, we must forge new rules and laws around it to ensure it cannot be used against the people in the forms of disinformation to form a narrow predetermined opinion. In a paradigm that does not allow for media sources to be influenced by money the remaining factors that will influence it will be politics and opinion.

As I have already stated before, whenever there is a group there will be a minority that will seek to dominate it. No matter how difficult it may be for the time of each future issue, media must never be allowed to be used in a way that convinces the people to give their authority to these minorities. The authority of politics and resources must always remain with the people in a complete form, not as linearity of additional authorities that the people may mistakenly allow to exist because of propaganda. Authority is given, not taken. So people must always be vigilant to ensure that this powerful tool is never turned against them, always evaluating the system of media to ensure the loopholes do not exist that can allow for these dangers.

I do not have all the answers on this complexity for our future. As powerful as media is, and as certain I am of its potential dangers, I understand the necessity in the processes of keeping each individual informed on all matters of our existence. But, I am not completely sure on how to safeguard humanity from these dangers. The truth of the matter is, that no matter how exacted the future design of media’s rules and guidelines are, there will always be an opening for its misuse. The laws surrounding media must be written so that as the flowing changes of our times and how this tool is married to them must be overseen by the human family in complete transparency and authority over it.

In the meantime we stand divided in the world. That divide is those who wish to form this more perfect world, and those that wish to perpetuate the negative, fear induced, control structure of power of the few over the many. Until this paradigm shift is complete, we cannot fault our media for its forms of propaganda. We must leave that fault to the individuals who believe in the things being said, no matter what side of the divide they are choosing to buy into. Until our vision of a new world is completed, the propaganda machine is our greatest tool and our largest enemy. I believe that everyone on this planet is fully able to come to realize the need for the paradigm shift I have been suggesting. In order for that vision to become complete, we need our form of propaganda to reach every ear. We all need to be shouting from the rooftops at the full of our voices demanding these essential changes to our society. But when our vision is complete, we must hand this power back to a form that is complete in way I have described.

I respect everybody's views and opinions. This new way of life cannot possibly come from me alone, as that would be another form of the few governing the many. Rather, this is me suggesting my vision of a new system to instigate a discussion and deliberation towards fine tuning it. Eventually, I would like to be able to present this on a massive scale globally for the world. I need your input, so please allow yourself the time to give it. Thankyou for being a part of change!
